![]() It was a very scenic spot, and there was plenty of regular fish in the water below who seemed only too glad to partake of the pieces of bread we threw to them. We traveled back to the river which flowed near the complex and walked out across an old railroad bridge which crossed it. If you remember where we left off, we had just finished lunch…with our guide promising that we’d see some “giant catfish” in short order. I hope you find it as fascinating as I did. Today, I’d like to continue with what else we saw on that day-long tour. The trip helped educate me about some of the interesting back story behind the disaster…as well as the human costs I had previously been unaware of. ![]() Yesterday, we shared the first segment of a recent trip I took to Chernobyl in the Ukraine…home of what’s considered to be one of the world’s worst nuclear accidents. ![]()
